1.Eligibility
- This competition is open to the students of the high and middle school
- All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- The entrants may be a team of (3-5) students and a mentor.
- The team must nominate a team leader and at the time of entry must identify the name and contact details of (a) the nominated team leader and (b) nominated mentor (c)idea with description (only one page)
2.Categories:
There are Three entry categories:
- Global Health
- CLIMATE, ENERGY, AND ENVIRONMENT
- Data and Technology.
3.How to enter:
- Each category poses a problem to which entrants must create a solution for.
- Entrants must describe the solution to their chosen challenge in one of 1,000 words or fewer. Entries may be supported by annotations and diagrams.
- Submissions must relate to the posed problems only. Submissions relating to other problems and their solutions will not be accepted.
- Entries must be in English or Arabic.
- An entry must be the original work of the entrant submitting it and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition.
- Entries must be submitted via our website.
- Entries must be received by the project submission phase.
- An entrant may enter this competition once only. Once submitted, we cannot accept any changes to any part of an entry.
- Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced, or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission or posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
4.COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- It is the responsibility of each entrant to obtain their own legal advice in relation to copyright, patent, design, and any other intellectual properties rights relating to their entry and its submission to the Competition.
- It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their entry does not infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party or any laws.

Entrants are on notice that:
- a) The competition procedure is not confidential
- b) Participating in the competition process may preclude the entrant from applying for patent or other intellectual property right protection for the entrant’s proposal thereby disclosed.
- c) SMART ADVENTURE company and the Competition’s Sponsors accept no responsibility for protecting the entrant’s proposal from disclosure, copying or infringement.
- d) The participating team shall waive the property rights of all data submitted, whether text or photocopy for the competition committee
5.General:
- The Competition reserves the right to refuse to accept any entry which in its opinion does not comply with these terms and conditions or which contravenes the spirit of the Competition.
- The Competition decision in all competition-related matters shall be final
- The winner and runners-up will be required to take part in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Competition and/or the Competition Sponsors.
- The Contest Committee has the right to use the photos and videos of the teams participating in advertising purposes on social media platforms
6.Ethics Statements

- Compliance with competition rules
- Compliance with general guidelines and ethics for dealing with the Internet (chat rooms - discussion forums - conducting a survey or sharing an idea)
- All professional interactions should be conducted with consideration and respect. Abusive, intimidating, humiliating, or demeaning behavior is not acceptable under any circumstances.
- Honesty in reporting of scientific data.
- Careful transcription and analysis of scientific results to avoid the error. • Independent analysis and interpretation of results that are based on data and not on the influence of external sources.
- Open sharing of methods, data, and interpretations through publication and presentation.
- Sufficient validation of results through replication and collaboration with peers.
- Proper crediting of sources of information, data, and ideas.
- Moral obligations to society in general, and, in some disciplines, responsibility in weighing the rights of human and animal subjects.
- Integrity. Honesty, objectivity, and avoidance of conflicts of interest are expected during every phase of the research.
- The project should reflect independent research done by the student(s) and represent only one year’s work.
- Respect for Confidentiality and Intellectual Property.
- It is the responsibility of the researcher(s) and the adults involved to protect the environment and its organisms from harm. All projects involve some amount of risk. Everyone is expected to recognize the hazards, assess the risks, minimize them, and prepare for emergencies.
- Animal Care. Proper care and respect must be given to vertebrate animals. The guiding principles for the use of animals in research include the following “Four R’s”: Replace, Reduce, Refine, Respect.
- Human Participant Protection. The highest priority is the health and well-being of the student researcher(s) and human participants.
- It is the responsibility of the student and adults involved in the project to safely handle and dispose of organisms and materials.

Compliance with the code of conduct in online social research as follows: -
- The contribution of individuals in answering the questions of the online social survey are voluntary and not mandatory.
- Keep some information about your search for targeted participants before collecting data to help them decide whether they want to participate in the search.
- Do not impersonate the results of others in social research without mentioning them
- Do not fake up data, research procedures, or data analysis
شروط الإلتحاق :
- هذه المسابقة متاحة لطلاب المدارس الإبتدائية و الإعدادية و الثانوية في جمهورية مصر العربية.
- للمسابقة قواعد وشروط توضح كيفية الإشتراك في المسابقة وجزءاً من هذه الشروط والأحكام قبول المتسابق جميع القواعد باعتبارها نهائية وأن يوافق المتسابق على الإلتزام بهذه القواعد. وبمجرد قيامه بإدخال بياناته سيعني هذا قبول هذه الشروط والأحكام.
- يتكون الفريق الواحد (3-5) طلاب وموجه.
- يجب على الفريق أن يرشح قائد الفريق ويجب أن يحدد وقت الدخول اسم وتفاصيل الاتصال بـ قائد الفريق المرشح والمشرف المرشح ،والفكرة مع الوصف (يرجى الاطلاع على الوصف التفصيلي للمقترح المرسل)
المجالات:
هناك ثلاث مجالات :
- الصحة العالمية
- المناخ والطاقة والبيئة
- المعلومات والتكنولوجيا.
شروط المشاركة:
- كل مجال من المجالات الثلاثة يرتبط بمجموعة من التحديات ، يجب على المشاركين وضع حل لأحدها في المسابقة العلمية أو التناول الثقافي لأحد التحديات في المسابقة الثقافية.
- يجب على المشاركين وصف التحدي الذي اختاره في أحد المجالات ملتزماً بعدد الكلمات في الجزء العلمي وبعدد الصفحات في الجزء الثقافي ، وقد يكون ذلك مصحوباً بالتعليقات التوضيحية والرسوم البيانية. (يرجى الإطلاع على الوصف التفصيلي للمهمة)
- لن يتم قبول المقترحات المتعلقة بمشاكل أخرى وحلولها ، الالتزام فقط بالموضوعات المطروحة.
- المقترحات المقدمة يجب أن تكون باللغة العربية أو الانجليزية فقط.
- يجب أن يكون المقترح المرسل هو عمل أصلي للمشارك ويجب ألا يكون قد تم نشره في مكان آخر أو فاز بجائزة في أي مسابقة أخرى.
- تقدم المشاركات عبر موقعنا على شبكة الإنترنت.
- تسلم المشاركات في مرحلة التقديم للمشروع فقط وليس في مرحلة أخرى.
- بمجرد الإرسال يحسب للمشترك الدخول في المسابقة، وللمشترك فرصة للاشتراك مرة واحدة فقط في المسابقة.
- لن يتم قبول المشاركات المتأخرة أو غير المقروءة أو غير الكاملة أو الفاسدة. لا توجد أي مسئولية على إدارة المسابقة عن الإدخالات المفقودة. ولن يتم إثبات الإرسال أو النشر كدليل على الإستلام.
حقوق النشر والملكية الفكرية
- يتحمل كل مشارك مسؤولية الحصول على مشورة قانونية خاصة به فيما يتعلق بحقوق النشر وبراءات الاختراع والتصميم وأي حقوق ملكية فكرية أخرى تتعلق بدخولهم وتقديمهم إلى المسابقة.
- كل مشارك مسؤولية التأكد من أن دخولهم لا ينتهك حقوق الطبع والنشر أو حقوق الملكية الفكرية لأي طرف ثالث أو أي قوانين.

على المشاركين ملاحظة أن:
- إجراءات المنافسة ليست سرية
- قد تمنع المشاركة في عملية المنافسة المشترك من التقدم بطلب للحصول على حماية براءات الاختراع أو حماية حقوق الملكية الفكرية الأخرى لاقتراح المشارك الذي تم الكشف عنه.
- لا تتحمل شركة SMART ADVENTURE ورعاة المسابقة أي مسؤولية عن حماية اقتراح المشارك من الإفشاء أو النسخ أو التعدي.
- يتنازل الفريق المشارك عن حقوق الملكية لجميع البيانات المقدمة ، سواء كانت نصية أو صورة للجنة المسابقة.
شروط وأحكام عامة:
- تحتفظ المسابقة بالحق في رفض قبول أي مشاركة في رأيها لا تتوافق مع هذه الشروط والأحكام أو تتعارض مع روح المسابقة.
- يكون قرار المسابقة في جميع الأمور المتعلقة بالمنافسة نهائياً.
- سيطلب من الفائزين المشاركة في دعاية معقولة نيابة عن المسابقة أو رعاة المسابقة.
- يحق للجنة المسابقة استخدام صور وفيديوهات الفرق المشاركة في أغراض إعلانية على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي
الميثاق السلوكي للمشاركين
- الالتزام بالسلوك الاخلاقي بين المشرف وأعضاء فريقه وبين الفريق بعضه وبعض وبين الفريق وإدارة المسابقة.
- الامتثال لقواعد المنافسة
- للمبادئ التوجيهية العامة وأخلاقيات التعامل مع الإنترنت (غرف الدردشة - منتديات المناقشة - إجراء مسح أو مشاركة فكرة)
- ينبغي إجراء جميع التفاعلات المهنية مع مراعاة واحترام. السلوك التعسفي أو الترهيبي أو المهين أو الغير مقبول تحت أي ظرف من الظروف.
- الأمانة في نقل البيانات العلمية في التقارير المرفقة
- النسخ الدقيق وتحليل النتائج العلمية لتجنب الخطأ.
- تحليل مستقل وتفسير للنتائج مبني على البيانات وليس على تأثير المصادر الخارجية.
- إتاحة ومشاركة الأساليب والبيانات والتفسيرات من خلال النشر والعرض.
- التحقق الكافي من النتائج من خلال التعاون مع النظراء.
- الاعتماد على مصادر المعلومات والبيانات والأفكار ذات الثقة.
- الالتزامات الأخلاقية تجاه المجتمع بشكل عام ، وفي بعض التخصصات ، المسؤولية عن حقوق الإنسان والحيوان على حد سواء
- النزاهة. الصدق والموضوعية وتجنب تضارب المصالح متوقع خلال كل مرحلة من مراحل البحث.
- يجب أن يعكس المشروع البحث المستقل الذي قام به الطالب (الطلاب) وأن يمثل عمل عام واحد فقط.
- احترام السرية والملكية الفكرية.
- تقع على عاتق الباحث (الباحثين) مسؤولية حماية البيئة والكائنات الحية من الأذى. تنطوي جميع المشاريع على قدر من المخاطر. يتوقع من الجميع التعرف على المخاطر وتقييم المخاطر وتقليلها والاستعداد لحالات الطوارئ.
- االاعتناء بالحيوان. يجب توفير العناية والاحترام المناسبين للحيوانات . تتضمن المبادئ التوجيهية لاستخدام الحيوانات في البحث ما يلي "العناصر الأربعة" التالية: استبدال ، تقليل ، تنقيح ، احترام.
- حماية المشاركين. الأولوية القصوى هي صحة ورفاهية الطلاب الباحثين (الباحثين) .
- يتحمل الطلاب المشاركون في المشروع مسؤلية التعامل مع الكائنات والمواد والتخلص منها بأمان.

الامتثال لقواعد السلوك في البحوث الاجتماعية عبر الانترنت
- مساهمة الأفراد في الاجابة على تساؤلات المسح الاجتماعي عبر الانترنت هي مساهمة تطوعية منهم وليست إلزامية.
- الحفاظ على توفير بعض المعلومات عن بحثك للمشـاركين المسـتهدفين قبل جمع البيانات لتسـاعدهم في تقرير رغبتهم في المشـاركة في البحث مـن عدمها.
- لا تنتحل نتائج الآخرين في البحوث الاجتماعية دون الاشارة إليهم.
- لا تفبرك أو تزورفي البيانات، أو إجراءات البحث، أو تحليل البيانات.
